Useful Sites:

  • Canon Cameras and Accesories - As a Canon user, I highly recommend their EOS Digital cameras and their stunning L series Lenses. At present, I primarily shoot in digital with EOS40D and EOS400D, extending the shooting time on the 400D by attaching the BG-E3 battery grip. When shooting analogue, I use an original 1978 Canon A1.
  • Sigma Lenses - I'm a big fan of Sigma lenses and I own and use daily, a Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM Telephoto zoom lens and a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro lens.
  • Manfrotto Tripods and Heads - I've only just started using a Manfrotto tripod and head. Everything from the feet to the head is of an exceptional build. It's not light, but it's certainly robust. I am currently using an 055XV View Tripod with a 701RC2 Video head. This head has a very smooth pan and very accurate and adjustable friction controls. This is the ultimate setup for long lens bird photography.
  • Apple Computers - I've been using Apple computers for the majority of my teens and would highly rate and recommend them. The simplicity of the interface makes for a much more enjoyable and relaxing experience. This site was designed and constructed using an Apple Macintosh.
  • The Minley Mushketeers - The Mushketeers are an ABFG Hampshire Based fungus group. If you're interested in foraying in Hampshire or just finding out more, please visit the site and get in touch with them.
  • WAB - Wild About Britain is an excellent online resource site for British Wildlife. It features a user generated wildlife gallery, information on various British wildlife and current environmental issues. The site is also home to one of the largest online wildlife forum communities on the web with over 28,000 members.

  • Richard Chew Photography - Richard is an Essex based wildlife photographer who has a special interest in birds. His photography takes him across the borders into Suffolk and Norfolk, where he spends lots of his time. Please visit his website and have a look at his wonderful images.
